Ever since the conclusion of Bigg Boss 17, the rivalry between former contestants Munawar Faruqui and Anurag Dobhal, known as UK07 Rider, has escalated beyond the confines of the reality show. Recent events have further fuelled their ongoing feud, with both individuals exchanging barbs and criticisms in the public eye. The recent blow was thrown by Anurag who in a tweet and a vlog took a dig at Munawar.
Following his victory on Bigg Boss 17, Munawar Faruqui has been seen actively pursuing various professional ventures. Most recently, he collaborated with actress Hina Khan for an upcoming music video Halki Halki Si, that has released today, i.e., the 23rd of Februrary.
In addition to his professional successes, Faruqui has also been consistent in updating about his personal life. He recently shared a vlog wherein he addressed certain issues, including a subtle dig at his former co-contestant, Anurag Dobhal.
Anurag Dobhal, however, wasn’t one to stay silent in the face of Munawar Faruqui’s apparent jabs. Taking to social media platform X, Dobhal launched a scathing attack on Faruqui, criticising his actions and reputation.
In his tweet, Anurag Dobhal implied that despite the expectations placed upon Munawar Faruqui to uphold his family’s honour, Faruqui’s alleged actions were instead bringing disrespect to stand-up comedy and relationships. The veiled reference to religion and infidelity suggested a deeper layer of criticism directed at Faruqui’s conduct. Dobhal’s tweet swiftly went viral, eliciting varied reactions from fans and followers alike.
In a recent vlog posted on his YouTube channel, Dobhal unleashed a torrent of criticism aimed at both Bigg Boss and Munawar Faruqui. He mocked the show’s prize money, implying it was nothing in comparison to his own wealth acquisitions. He stated that with that prize money, one could manage to only buy two tires of McLaren, while he was sitting in the spotless car.
While speaking to the person behind the camera, he further criticised Munawar Faruqui for his alleged infidelity, advising against ‘two-timing’ women, especially those who are married or have children, pointing out Faruqui’s controversial romantic entanglements revealed during the reality show.
Unsurprisingly, Dobhal’s comment ignited a firestorm of responses on social media, with supporters and detractors of both individuals voicing their opinions in the comment section. While Munawar Faruqui’s fans rallied behind him, defending the stand-up comedian against Dobhal’s accusations, others seized the opportunity to critique Dobhal’s own behaviour during his stint on Bigg Boss 17.
The ongoing feud between Munawar Faruqui and Anurag Dobhal only seems to heighten as the lingering tensions and animosity continues outside the Bigg Boss House. As both individuals seek to pursue their respective careers, it remains to be seen whether their rivalry will persist or eventually fade into obscurity.
