How Did Content Creation Happen For Dharna?

Diving into her journey, Dharna mentioned that content creation began in the lockdown for her. “Maine college mein theatre kiya hai and jab lockdown hua toh main college nahi ja pa rahi thi toh maine videos banana start kiya bohot randomly. Main apne doston ko bhej rahi thi, aisa kuch plan nahi tha ki use kahin upload karna hai,” said Dharna.

And then meri ek friend ne suggest kiya ki it’s so funny, aap isko upload kar do Instagram pe. Toh maine aise apna first video wahan pe upload kiya and this is how it all started” she added. And aren’t we glad? Because of that friend’s advice, we get to laugh our hearts out every day!

Dharna On Heartbreaks

There isn’t much tragedy in this comedy queen’s love life. When asked if she’s ever faced heartbreak, Dharna responded by saying, “Yeah, I think school time mein to yeh thoda bohot hota hi tha but haan itna kuch major mere saath nahi hua hai.”

She further shared that she went to a very strict convent school and then joined theatre in college where they were not allowed to have relationships. “Theatre ke alawa main kahin jaati nahi thi toh mujhe in general baat cheet badhane ka kahin bhi itna samay mila nahi, toh aisa kuch heartbreak maine feel nahi kiya” said Dharna.

Her Best Fan Interaction

Dharna has created a very loyal fanbase for herself. They wait for her to drop a video so they can have a good laugh. We asked her to share a fan incident that touched her heart and she narrated a beautiful one. “Main ek ladki se mili thi. Uski shaadi hone se pehle kuch caste ka difference tha toh unki apni mother se baat cheet kam ho gayi thi. Bohot time se ho hi nahi rahi thi. And mera ek series hai “Rajat-Shimpy” ka jahaan pe woh baith ke burai kar rahi hai apni bahu ki.”

She continues, “Toh unko aisa laga ki her mother will relate to them. Unhone randomly Instagram pe voh reels share kari thi. Aur vaha se unki conversation apni mummy se badh gayi. Jab voh mujhe ye baat bata rahi thi unki aankhen teary ho gayi thi and main bhi emotional ho gayi. Aapko nahi pata aapki ek video kisi ke liye kya importance rakhti hai.”

Some fans would even come and share how her videos help them get out of a sad phase or end up being a source of entertainment when they were hospitalised or healing. “Toh yeh sab sunke aisa lagta hai ki hum to mazze mein bana rahe hain aur kisi doosre ke liye woh kya importance rakh rahi hai ye humein nahi pata. To yeh sab sunke bahut accha lagta hai,” quipped the creator.
