Next, we have the very ambitious, comedy maverick, and relatable content creator, Khushaal Pawar! All his videos are bound to leave you in splits, but did you know how it all started? We’ve got you covered!

Back In The Days

His journey in the entertainment industry started from his college theatre days. And even before that, he pursued professional theatre classes with the Indian People’s Theater Association, IPTA. He had felt the influence of Bollywood’s acting since childhood. He was watching films, acting was being observed by him, and he felt a strong desire.

“Mere ko bachpan se hi acting mein bahut zyada influence tha Bollywood ka. Filmen dekh ke, acting dekh ke, to bahut chaha. Uske baad, I went to radio, I did radio production, then I was an RJ, then I was a radio producer. So, after that, it started from there.”

A Bollywood Buff!

A self-acclaimed Bollywood buff, there are various movies that Khushaal likes, which include Barfi, Hulchul, Hera Pheri, and the recent buzz maker Chamkila starring sensational Punjabi singer, Diljit Dosanjh.

How To Deal With Content Fatigue & The Relevance Race?

While there are various ways to tackle these norms, how does Khushaal face them? “I just take a break. Because scene wahi hai, we can’t take the audience lightly just for the numbers. A lot of people meet me and they say, ‘Aapka million kaise nahi hai abhi tak? Aapka 700 plus hi hai.’ Maine kaha, ‘Haan, theek hai, chalega.’ Because I am not doing it for the numbers aur viral cheez karne ke liye.

“I can also use abusive language and do something jo aajkal log kar rahe hain for the hook, ke doosre ka footage, jo girta hai banda phir wo khud roll hoke aa jaate hain. To main wo bhi kar sakta hoon, but my main motive is to become an established actor. So, whoever casting director is watching this, please do cast me in your films and your web shows,” said the aspiring actor.

Inspiration Behind His Content

Talking about his famous ‘building videos‘ he shared some of his thoughts and inspiration for curating relatable content. “Jab bhi aap naye building mein shift hote ho, ya kahin bhi jaate ho, toh har baar alag-alag characters milte hain. There is actually an over-smart kid in my building. Main roz shaam ko uski awaaz sunta hoon, ‘Kavya, are you coming to play?’ Uska bahar se awaaz aata hi rehta hai. So, from there, jahaan dikha, wahan se thoda inspiration le leta hoon.” Khushaal revealed.

Take A Break!

Being a creator is not all roses. They have to create content, curate relatable and funny concept scripts to engage with your audience, get brand deals, and a lot more. Does taking a break help in the long run? What is the best way to unwind? Here’s what Khushaal Pawar had to say:

“What I like to do during my break is to have food. Food and friends. Main unke saath baith ke baatein karta hoon aur khaana khata hoon, toh achha lagta hai. Lekin dekho, ab ye cheez se suffer toh karna hi padega. No matter aap kitne bhi break le lo, kuch bhi kar lo, wo aayega hi. Pressure mein toh hum sabhi hain, filhaal. Aaj kya dalna hai, kal wali nahi chali, parson kya karenge, kis event mein jaaun? Aisa kuch kya bole podcast pe jo viral ho jaaye? So, it’s tough but chal toh raha hi hai.”

Turning Heartbreaks Into Melodies

Did you know Khushaal has also been through heartbreaks like us? “So, mera bahut pehle heartbreak hua tha, abhi I am okay. I have a girlfriend now, toh aisa kuch nahi hai, tension. But actually, main bhoolta bahut jaldi hoon. Like, if I am upset about something in the morning, kuch ho jaayega, main dopahar ko bhool hi jaunga. But haan, heartbreak made me… gave me a lot of songs, jo main release karne wala hoon.”

On May 6, he released his debut song “Zara Sochna Hoga.” The song expresses the importance of mindfulness, critical thinking, and self-awareness in navigating life’s challenges and decisions.

A Life Tip From Legendary Actor Om Puri

Being a radio jockey, he interviewed various actors, and among them, one of the most life-changing interactions was with Om Puri sir. Khushaal stated, “I was not interviewing but because I was a radio producer, I was recording Om Puri sahab. So, that time I was very fascinated because he is also an actor. I went up to him and I was like, “Arey, mujhe karna hai, kya karoon?” One thing he said, jo main aaj bhi mere zehan mein hai, ‘Agar accha actor banna hai toh pehle accha insaan bano. Accha insaan banoge, tab aap acche actor ban paoge.‘”

Key Takeaways For Budding Content Creators

“Stay real. I will tell you, it is difficult to be honest with your craft. Also, you don’t know what people like. So, believe in yourself and do it with full honesty. Toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Just be very very honest to your craft and don’t think about numbers. Numbers will come and go if you are not real and honest with yourself for a longer time. Mereko wahi lagta, main toh wahi rule follow karta hoon. Bhale phir time lage, chalega,” shared Khushaal Pawar.
