Born on January 11, 1993, the Indian actress Mithila Palkar is currently her own personal brand with a list of movies and endorsements in line. She’s the face of youth and new age engagement, focusing on creativity and talent. What do you think was the first push behind her career success? Was it acting or dancing or singing? Well, it was due to her YouTube video. She became an internet sensation with her cup cover on ‘Hi Chaal Turu Turu’ uploaded on March 11, 2016. This Marathi twist instantly gained the netizen’s approval which was how her rise to fame began. Presently, this video stands at 6.8 million views and 202K likes.

Mithila started her acting debut with ‘Majha Honeymoon’, which was a Marathi short film released on October 19, 2014. Due to not having a proper platform earlier, it wasn’t showcased properly. But it belongs to Myoho Films having uploaded the film on January 20, 2017, on their YouTube channel. As per Myoho Films, the film “was an official selection in the ‘Dimensions Mumbai’ category at the 16th Mumbai Film Festival(MAMI Film Festival). It was also screened at the 13th Frames Film Festival.”

She entered the Bollywood industry with her role as Imran Khan’s sister in ‘Katti Batti’ that was released in 2015. Next, she appeared in Filter Copy’s ‘News Darshan’ on YouTube in 2015, which gave her immense respect and popularity. Her first web series was ‘Girl in The City’ in 2016 with Bindass. Dice Media’s web series ‘Little Things’ season 1, was released in 2016. It made Mithila a known celebrity. Netizens were pretty impressed with her performance. Her next project on Netflix was ‘Chopsticks’ which was released in 2019. Along with her, actor Abhay Deol was also a part of the film too.
