We nominated select creators under 12 distinct categories on our Instagram Stories. Ranging from Visual Storyteller to Knowledge Guru to DIY DYnamo, we cherry-picked 3 creators excelling in their respective genres. And the winner was ultimately crowned by YOU, our audience, in the form of polls.

With a remarkable 2,643 votes, Shehzaan Khan emerged as the winner under our category “Santa’s Favourite Dance Sensation. 55% of viewers hail him as the ‘King of Dance’ and rightfully so. The ‘Laung Da Lashkara‘ guy won hearts across the country with his jaw-dropping dance moves and contagious energy. His unprecedented virality also opened up a number of new avenues for him.

The dancing sensation took off on “The Raat Bhar Tour” he dreamed of embarking on. Executed with meticulous planning, Shehzaan took his brilliant choreographies across cities in the country, hosting workshops for numerous eager learners.

How can we talk about Shehzaan without mentioning Laung Da Lashkara? A song that pretty much made his career and shot him to the heights of success, his choreography went viral and how. There existed a ‘Laung Da Lashkara fever’ on the Internet for a long time. Every dancer/creator recreated this choreo with him.

The way his numbers grew on his page and he himself as an artist was mind-boggling. In just a span of one month roughly, his Instagram following jumped from 50k to 500k! That’s a literal 10x growth. He is now super close to touching the 700k mark.

Ever since his virality took off, everyone wanted to dance and collaborate with him. Not just creators and influencers, but even celebrities wished to shake a leg with the “National Patiala Boy.” From Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill to Raftaar, Sargun Mehta, Barkha Singh, Ahsaas Channa, and more, Shehzaan has got them all grooving to his beats.

Shehzaan bagged the Trendsetter Influencer (Male) title at the Exhibit Magazine’s InfluencEx23 Awards. He penned a heartfelt message in his post, “I hope my story and this award acts as a testament to everyone out there who has a dream. Dreams do come true✨“

Shehzaan Khan – Janhavi Motwani and iconic dance sequence recreations go hand-in-hand. In association with a Google Doodle tribute to the late Sridevi, the talented dancers performed on the hit song “Na Jaane Kaha Se” from her movie Chaalbaaz as a beautiful tribute. Captioned “Kisi ke haath na aayegi yeh ladki 😉☂️❤️,” their rendition was applause-worthy.

A birthday celebration so grand, it is worthy of a King. And that, Shehzaan definitely is. He celebrated his birthday doing what he loves the most, dancing and teaching hundreds of people. His fans thronged the NESCO ground, chanting his name, hyping him up, bringing thoughtful gifts and learning his mesmerizing moves.

He put up a post capturing that day and wrote, “I’m honestly at a loss for words after all the love you guys have shown in those 3 magical hours. Here’s a glimpse of what unconditional love looks like. This cannot be bought, it has to be earned, after years and years of hustling and being humble and respectful. I appreciate all of it with every bone in my body. I am what I am only and only because of these beautiful people.“

Not just dancing, this star can act effortlessly as well. He was featured in Total Indian Drama‘s YouTube video titled, “Signs your Gf is still a kid.” Shehzaan has acted really well alongside Shweta Seema Sharma. His fans have been gushing over his performance in the comments section of the video.

The dance maverick is definitely going places. He attended the Archies Album Launch event and interacted with the star-studded cast of the show too. He also featured in a brand collaboration video with Maybelline along with Janhavi Motwani to promote the Maybelline X Archie’s Limited Edition Collection.
