Show Up For India: A 2-Day Extravaganza for Humanity

The weekend on 15th and 16th of May saw something that has garnered respect from humanity, for humanity.
YouTuber and comedians Tanmay Bhat and Samay Raina organised a two day live streaming extravaganza on their YouTube channels called Show Up For India. The stream was organised in association with Give India & Hemkunt Foundation to collect Funds for battling the ongoing Covid-19 wave.
Both Give India & Hemkunt Foundation have been heroic in their deeds to aid the needy but as the numbers continue to grow so is the required support.

Show Up for India was a two day long live stream that was no less than a magnum opus. Featuring musicians, comedians, youtubers, cricketers and more! The stream hosted games, songs, shows, quizzes etc. of course virtually! Many of the personalities who were a part of the stream shared the schedule on their Instagram so that the public could catch a glimpse at their own preferred time.

The live stream was indeed  delightful to watch but also a reminder of the ultimate cause i.e. TO DONATE.

Last year in April 2020, Tanmay had live streamed Stay Home For India, which was again a donation drive for Covid relief. The stream was successful in every way and generated a total amount of 17.5 Lac Rupees! purely through donations.

Following the success of its predecessor. Show Up For India has beaten the former by miles and has garnered a total donation of over 60 Lac Rupees!! You heard that right 60 Lac Rupees all for charity. If this isn’t humanity then we don’t know what is. To everyone who donated virtual hugs and a big THANK YOU!
For people who can and are willing to donate towards the cause. DONATE AWAY! (at any Covid relief organisation).

In case you missed the stream don’t worry we got you covered. The entire stream for both Day 1 and Day 2 is available on Samay Raina and Tanmay Bhat’s YouTube Channel respectively.
Day 1:

Day 2:

To everyone reading this. Take Care. Stay Safe and if you can then get Vaccinated! Let’s do our part in putting an end to these testing times.
