The luxury automobile brand BYD Auto has launched its first-ever high-performance electric supercar, Yangwang U9.
The U9 is designed with innovative gullwing doors, advanced LED headlights, and an expansive front grille that exudes aesthetics & sophistication.
This is a powerful machine with four electric motors generating 1287 horsepower, which can potentially hit 0-100 km/h in 2.36 seconds.
According to China Light-Duty Vehicle Test , the U9 acclaims the range of 450 km or 280 miles in single charge, which is impressive for a supercar.
It uses an 800V electrical architecture, which allows 30% to 80% charge in just 10 minutes with 500 kW DC fast charging.
The U9 gets a dance feature with one click & has an Auto Parking Assist System for accurately finding empty spots with ultrasonic sensors for parking help.
Although the U9 was introduced at Auto Shanghai in April 2023, it went on sale in February 2024.
