They were born and raised in Mumbai, India, in their family home in Bandra West. They come from a Goan Konkani background.

In 2014, they won Mr Gay India and represented the country at Mr Gay World, making history as the first Indian delegate to win multiple sub awards.
In 2014, Divgikar appeared on the reality TV show Bigg Boss 8. They also featured in TV commercials for Maruti Suzuki, MTV India & Channel V India.
In 2018, as drag queen Rani Ko-HE-Nur, they made history by winning the golden buzzer on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa & becoming the first LGBTQIA+ contestant to enter into top 15.
Divgikar's achievements and influence were recognized when they were listed as one of GQ's 50 Most Influential Young Indians in 2018.
They participated in the international singing competition for drag performers, Queen of the Universe, in 2021, making India proud on a global stage.
