Renowned actor Christian Oliver, known for his versatile role in Indiana Jones, tragically died in a plane crash along with his daughters.
The acting career of Oliver began in 1994 with a 26-episode role on the show Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
He is a German-born US actor who has appeared in films with Tom Cruise and George Clooney over a 30-year career.
Some of his notable films include The Three Musketeers, Vikings: War of Clans, Speed Racer, Valkyrie & more.
He won the award for "Best Horror Feature" in 2013 for House of Good and Evil at the Indie Spirit Film Festival in the US.
On January 4th, Oliver & his daughters boarded a single-engine aeroplane that took off from an airport in Bequia.
Officials from the Royal St. Vincent stated that the plane heading to St. Lucia experienced unspecified issues shortly after takeoff and crashed into the Caribbean Sea.
Divers from the nation’s coast guard went to the crash site, and military personnel were able to retrieve the four bodies of the people on the plane.
Oliver, his daughters Annik and Madita Klepser, and the plane’s pilot, Robert Sachs, were all declared dead at the scene by medical staff.
Forever Hold Your Peace’s director, Nick Lyon, paid tribute to Oliver late on Thursday by posting a photo on Instagram stating “Thank you for being a great colleague, actor and friend.”
