Born in 1989, he is a renowned Indian rapper and songwriter, who eventually became a key figure in Indian Hip-Hop industry.
Originating from a Kashmiri Pandit family, he spent part of his childhood in South London, where his passion for rapping emerged.
He did his schooling in the UK & his higher studies at Hansraj College and St. Xavier’s College in India.
Beginning his career at age 18, he initially faced multiple rejections in this industry. However, he gained popularity in Delhi, collaborating with international artists.
Facing Rejections, But...
In 2010, his breakthrough came with "Kaisa Mera Desh," making history in Hip-Hop, ranking #2 on YouTube.
In 2013, he collaborated with Save The Children for the song "Vijay" and signed with Universal Music, changing his stage name to KR$NA.
Since his breakthrough, he has pioneered various album tours, including "The Dollar Sign India Tour," marking a milestone in Indian Hip-Hop.
He won the Radio City Freedom Awards 2023 for the Best Indie Collaboration with Brodha-V.
