Also known as Khaala, Gauri Sawant was born & raised in Pune and living in Mumbai since more than 20 years.
Sawant was born as Ganesh. Her mother passed away when she was 7 years old and she left her home in Pune when she was 15 years old.
In school, Sawant was often the target of other students who passed derogatory remarks and called her names.
