Zepto Urges You To #JustSayIt This Father’s Day

With Father’s Day just around the corner, all brands are hard at work launching one campaign after another. In a sea of Father’s Day posts, it’s tough for every ad to stand out. But Zepto gets it. Their #JustSayIt campaign definitely tugs at the heartstrings. Curious about what #JustSayIt is all about? Let’s find out!

Zepto launched its Father’s Day campaign #JustSayIt, featuring a touching ad film. The campaign’s centerpiece is a heartfelt video, which they released a few days ago on multiple social media platforms. It captures the essence of fatherhood, highlighting the unique & often unspoken bond between fathers & their children. The video aims to evoke emotions and encourage people to express their love and appreciation for their dads with #JustSayIt.

#JustSayIt Already!

Fathers are often stereotyped as the strong, silent type who prefer showing tough love instead of being expressive. But Zepto aims at changing that narrative. The ad showcases a nervous son trying to gather the courage to say an important message to his father. This Father’s Day ad focuses on normalising saying “I love you” to your dads no matter how awkward it gets.

The ad film is more than just a marketing tool; it’s a reminder to showcase your love and gratitude for your father. By highlighting the often unspoken bond between fathers & their children, Zepto hopes to inspire viewers to open up and #JustSayIt.

The Campaign

The message is further amplified by social media activations, which encourage people to share their own stories and messages. Leading up to the launch, Zepto’s social media channels featured teaser posts and interactive content to build excitement. The brand engaged its audience with countdowns, sneak peeks, and father-centric stories using the hashtag #JustSayIt.

The Contest

Zepto hosted a contest wherein people had to click a picture with their Dad and upload it on their Instagram story using Zepto’s “I love you papa” template.

5 of the top participants got featured in the Times of India‘s specific supplement newspaper today.

The Collaborations

To amplify this simple yet sweet message, Zepto collaborated with various creators.

RJ Princy

Princy headed to Mumbai’s iconic Marine Drive to urge people to #JustSayIt. She asked various strangers to call their father and say “I love you.” The reactions of the children and dads were SO wholesome!

The Indian Idiot

Charansh, who runs this page, created an adorable post for Zepto’s Father’s Day campaign. He depicted various scenarios where kids don’t say “I love you” to their dads but just act cutely instead. Like eating the fruits they bring us, laughing at their dad jokes, or teaching them tech stuff.

Greedy Adventures

Anubhav Agarwal a.k.a Greedy Adventures, a sky-diver and adventurer, dived with a banner saying “I love you Papa“. The reel said, “He said it, what’s your excuse?” Super stuff!

Neel Trivedi Art

Neel created a beautiful animation video of a father-child bond over the years. When the father’s radio stops working, the son gifts him a new stereo through Zepto. This is just too cute!

Stating Facts!

Chandan Mendiratta, chief branding officer at Zepto, emphasized the campaign’s core message, stating, “We all love our dads deeply, but sometimes it’s hard to put that love into words. This realization led to an important insight: no matter how awkward it might feel, we should take every chance we get to show our love. Our video film and special limited-edition gifts are our way of enabling our customers to say ‘I love you’ to their amazing dads. This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate our dads and tell them how much they mean to us.”

Limited-Edition Offer

For orders placed on Zepto this Father’s Day, June 16, 2024, the e-commerce brand has promised to include a limited-edition gift bag. With 1 lakh limited edition bags up for grabs, Zepto aims to make every dad feel special. These gift bags are designed to be thoughtful tokens of appreciation, reinforcing the campaign’s message and giving children a tangible way to express their love.

Bilingual Love

To ensure the campaign reaches as many people as possible, Zepto has released the video in both Hindi and Tamil, catering to diverse audiences across different regions. This inclusivity reflects Zepto’s commitment to celebrating fatherhood by recognizing the different ways of expressing love in various cultures.

What The Campaign Delivered

Zepto’s campaign is not just about selling products; it’s about creating meaningful connections & encouraging people to take a moment to appreciate their dads. The combination of a touching video, special promotions, and engaging social media activities is designed to resonate deeply with viewers. It inspired them to share their feelings and make this Father’s Day truly memorable.

So, did you tell your Dad “I Love You” yet? What are you waiting for? Go express your love and gratitude towards him by #JustSayingIt with Zepto!
