In order to enable users to switch to an avatar while turning off the camera, WhatsApp has been working on a feature. The capability would be available whenever users joined a video conference and turned off the camera, according to earlier rumours. According to a recent leak, the company wants to make Avatars into stickers in order to go beyond just supplying them for video discussions.

According to WABetaInfo’s report, avatars will be converted into stickers on the messaging app owned by Meta, and users will be able to utilise them similarly to other stickers. Images of the feature on the blog site show that when WhatsApp users select the stickers option in the message bar, the option to create Avatar stickers will appear alongside the GIF, emojis, and other stickers.
