Instagram had earlier announced that it no longer is just a photo sharing app. By making several updates and additions to its user interface, the app has proven to be more than just a photo sharing app. Reels, Stories, IGTV, Live videos etc. only prove the point. Keeping the spirit of evolving alive.
Let’s have a look at What New Features Is Instagram Working On:

Change to the Post Creation Flow

Instagram is working on changing the flow of post creation. This means that whenever a user creates a post, the user will be asked whether to share it as a post or as a reel. App developer Alessandro Paluzzi on his Twitter shared images of what change to post creation flow will look like.

Import Profile Photo From Twitter

Instagram will soon allow users to import the profile photo from Twitter. Currently users can upload a new profile photo from either their gallery or Facebook but this new update will add Twitter as an option too. Alessandro Paluzzi shared images of what the option of importing a profile photo from Twitter will look like.

Working to Automatically Play Videos in the Feed

Instagram is working on automatically playing the videos appearing on feed in full screen mode. Alessandro Paluzzi shared the video sample of how this will look and work.

Currently all these features are under work in progress (WIP) and so far there is no news about their official roll out.
