Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Lol: Hasse Toh Phasse’ Reviews

The trailer for the web series ‘LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse’, hosted by Boman Irani and Arshad Warsi, was released on Amazon Prime Video on April 20th. Gaurav Gera, Sunil Grover, Mallika Dua, Kusha Kapila, Aadar Malik, Aakash Gupta, Ankita Shrivastav, Cyrus Broacha, Aditi Mittal, and Suresh Menon were among the ten comedians, influencers, and content creators who gathered under one roof to take on the challenge of making others laugh while keeping a straight face without smiling or laughing for six hours. The Australian show ‘Last One Laughing‘ served as inspiration for this show. An exception to this rule was made by introducing a yellow card to the person for the first time as a warning. The person who adheres to the rule of not laughing, eventually, wins. The person who becomes, “too passive” in not performing, also gets a yellow card. Although, the yellow card being presented served as a breather for the participants to laugh or/and smile.

The audience thought it would be a fun escape into an alternate universe to distract themselves from Covid when the show was about to be broadcast. Everyone was excited and fascinated to watch the show because of the Munna Bhai pair. Although, after its initial release, the show received negative feedback on ‘Twitter’. Although a small number of viewers seemed to enjoy the show, a significant number of viewers said that the task of not laughing was the easiest because they did not smile or laugh at home.

Some viewers, on the other hand, seemed to admire and enjoy the artists they liked.

Although the participants had a one-of-a-kind experience, the audience had mixed reactions to the performance. Hasse Toh LOL: Phasse was released on Amazon Prime on April 20th 2021.
