The YouTube sensation’s humourous takedown of the popular street food vendors has left viewers in splits. Carry has been stirring up excitement since the teaser drop, kicking things off with roasts of Delhi’s infamous Vada Pav Girl, Chandrika Dixit, and her over-the-top publicity stunts. Adding to the buzz, he made a surprise appearance, channelling Bill Gates‘ look with a sharp black suit & crisp white shirt. Did you know who played the role of Dolly Chaiwala? In the initial part of the video, Carry roasted the most famous Vada Pav girl and Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 evicted contestant, Chandrika Gera Dixit. Carry began, “This is the first stall I’ve seen where Vada Pav comes with an additional drama.” “She’s the first stall owner whose customers give reassurance along with money, ‘Don’t cry, Di, it’s nothing,’ and what do customers get in return? Here, pack it up, one work we can do is make Vada Pav ourselves, you sit on the street,” he added.
Later, he also highlighted how the price of the Vada Pav is INR 50 to which Dixit justifies, “Main kya 50 rupees me crorepati ban jaungi?” However, Carry enacts and points out her gareebi saying, “Can someone get rich by selling overpriced items? No, no, Didi is poor, the poorest among the poor. If you don’t believe it, look at her condition. Didi’s poor car (Ford Mustang), Didi’s poor iPhone 15, Didi’s poor luxury branded clothes and purse, and all these poor things weren’t bought by selling Vada Pav, it’s just a family business of getting bitten by a mouse.”
Later, CarryMinati delightfully mocked Dolly Chaiwala, played by Delhi-based video creator Purav Jha. In the skit, Dolly makes Gates pour milk in his usual style before sticking out his tongue. The scene ends with Dolly accidentally burning Gates’ hair, leading Gates to joke about “Bill Gates banke nikle the, Jeff Bezos bana diya.” Netizens were amazed.
