The one thing or probably the only thing on everyone’s social media for the past few months, especially this weekend, is the “Ambani wedding.” We have lost count of the never-ending list of functions the richest family in the country has hosted so far! Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant finally tied the knot in a formal wedding ceremony at the Jio World Convention Center in BKC on July 12 after seven months of headline-grabbing festivities.
Since their engagement in December 2023, the families of the couple have been building up to their big day by hosting increasingly lavish events that sounded almost too extravagant to be true. This weekend concluded the major wedding festivities with the who’s who of the world in attendance! From Justin Bieber performing to Kim and Khloe Kardashian in lehengas to John Cena in Indianwear to world leaders flying down, the Ambanis pulled all the stops to make this wedding the most grand affair ever!
The wedding took place over the course of three days, with the main “Lagna” ceremony at Jio World Convention Center taking place on Friday, July 12, followed by a “Shubh Ashirwad” (divine blessings) ceremony on July 13. Many celebs from the Indian film industry were spotted celebrating the youngest Ambani couple over the last few days. The “Mangal Utsav” or reception took place in Antilia on Sunday, July 14.
Is any event complete without the presence of influencers and content creators today? Then how could one of the biggest weddings not have them? Last night was a star-studded affair at the Ambani residence as numerous social media stars, influencers and content creators were invited to the Mangal Utsav ceremony. They turned up in the most gorgeous ensembles, we were just awe-struck by their looks!
Let’s take you through them all:
The Internet’s favourite entertainer dazzled in an all-gold look by Itrh. From the mirror-embellished blouse to the gold crushed gota lehenga, Kusha looked like an ethereal beauty!
The fashionista and male beauty influencer Ankush made jaws drop with his sparkling ‘Jade by Monica and Karishma‘ ensemble. The beautiful sheer shirt was elevated by the silver vest and the look was finished by dark grey blazers and trousers paired with an eye-catching belt. Total slay!
Dolly killed it in Amaare‘s Psy vines stitched saree, styled by Dolla Barua. She paired the coral blue outfit with an emerald green embellished bag. Can we just take a moment for that blouse, tho? She looks HOT!
It’s always giving ‘couple goals’ with these two! Komal and Siddharth looked adorable in black and gold outfits. Komal adorned a fitted skirt and a bralette with mirror work, draped in a saree style by Vvani. Siddharth complemented her look with a black-gold custom Jigar Mali ensemble.
Red is so her colour! Ritvi looks like a dream in this ‘House of Tavanjo‘ lehenga. The craftsmanship, the details, that cape, and the necklace – everything ties together beautifully!
How gorgeous does she look in this Jade By Monica and Karishma lehenga? The outfit, the jewellery, the makeup – it’s giving desi queen! We’re convinced Apoorva can rock any and every aesthetic.
This AKHL outfit donned by Diipa was a breath of fresh air. We love the western-meets-Indian outfit vibe and the way it highlights her silhouette. And Oleg looked super cute in his Indian attire!
Aastha understood the assignment. She opted for this beautiful pink Dolly J lehenga. It looks like royalty. The gajra in her hair just adds that extra desi touch that we absolutely loved!
“Sakshi has arrived,” says her caption and we agree. She looks like a goddess in this Itrh saree. The glittering gold corset paired with that delicate sequined saree and standout jewellery makes it a perfect look for the AR Wedding.
Tanmay sure looks dapper in that custom Brahaan ensemble but Chat steals the show here! Go comment Tanmay in Indian OP in the chat!
The influencer supreme, Orry has been the highlight of this wedding. From a Manish Malhotra gold and white ensemble to a glittering silver look by Faraz Manan to the suave and sophisticated one by Raghavenrdra Rathore, Orhan won every time!
The Malkin woke up and chose to look like a fairy last night! What an absolute treat Parul looks like. She is dressed in a Dolly J lehenga with her most important accessory – her Nish Hair extensions! From that dreamy lehenga to the bustier design to the way the dupatta is draped, the fabric, the styling – everything is so on point!
Gold was definitely the colour of the night and this wedding. Ahsaas got it just right in this stunning Nitika Gujral gold lehenga. The details and cuts and style are just immaculate, she is glowing!
Ranveer decided to dress like Batman for the AR wedding reception. What a cool Indian fit from The House of Govinda! It’s unique and fresh and fits Ranveer like a glove. You know you slayed when Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff complimented your outfit, need we say more?
Nikunj nailed the Indian look brief. We loved the red and white combination and the asymmetric kurta with intricate self-design work on it. 10/10 look.
Juhi looks gorgeous in the Peacock & Shane Peacock’s blue lehenga. It’s giving Indian chic and we’re here for it. And those diamonds just add the right touch of glimmer to her glam.
We also spotted creators like RJ Abhinav, Funcho, Agasthya Shah, Kamiya Jani, Saurabh Ghadge, Karan Sonawane (Focused Indian), Sukriti, Dhanashree Verma, Meghna Kaur (shetroublemaker) and Radhika Seth.
