The French Riviera is buzzing with celebrities, filmmakers and creators from across the globe who have arrived at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The who’s who of the industry has been strutting across the Cannes Red Carpet 2024. It was quite heartwarming to see some of our Indian creators be a part of this prestigious event. They really brought their A-game to Cannes with their ultra-glam and fashionable looks!
The gorgeous creators have dropped various new looks on their social media. Let’s take you through them:
After-Party Look
Ankush Bahuguna with his ‘beauty’ alter ego Wing It With Ankush, is totally owning Cannes. He’s dropping one bomb look after another. Ankush went with a Rajdeep Ranawat outfit for the NFDC India and FICCI India i.e. the Bharat Pavilion party as well as the Nespresso x Brut India party.
Draped in a striking printed silk jacket and pants, paired with a sheer shirt adorned with crystals, Bahuguna epitomized Ranawat’s signature blend of sophistication and glamour. His riveting look was impeccably complemented by a pair of Patina lace-up shoes, meticulously custom-made for Ankush by Tōramally, a homegrown footwear brand by Rahul Shastri. With the addition of exquisite jewellery from Amrapali
Panel Look
Ankush was invited as a panellist at the Bharat Pavilion to speak about authenticity in content creation & storytelling. He was seen wearing an Abhishek Sharma creation. A fresh, summer take on the Indian bandhgala, the linen shirt in a natural shade had contemporary and beautiful strips of intricate beadwork hand embroidered and crossed over the shirt to elevate the dynamics of the outfit and give it an edge.
Nancy Tyagi‘s Cannes story is our favourite Cannes story!! From making outfits from scratch to wearing her own creation at the Cannes Red Carpet, Nancy Tyagi has come a long way. We could not be more proud of this girl!
“I poured my heart and soul into creating this pink gown, which took 30 days, 1000 meters of fabric, and weighs over 20kg. The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it. I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true,” wrote Nancy in her caption.
Goddess vibes only. Niharika NM slays in this sheer midnight blue gown adorned with pearls, created by Marchesa. Now that’s a look befitting the Cannes Red Carpet!
One of the most loved comedy creators, Viraj Ghelani opted for an all-white look topped with a graphic green jacket. He looks quite dapper and fresh in this short Yavi jacket.
Deepti Sadhwani continues to go all out for her Cannes looks. She wore this stunning Michael Cinco gown as she attended the screening of the movie “Bird” written and directed by Andrea Arnold starring Barry Keoghan. Deepti’s white and lemon yellow gown with the ruffled trail sure made heads turn at Cannes.
Ayush was probably one of the most excited Indian creators to attend the Bird screening. He was seen wearing a Republic by Omar Farooq outfit for the event. That all-black outfit with a sheer shirt and embroidered jacket definitely made is fans swoon over his look.
Kinnari a.k.a @thepearshapedstylist looks flattering in this red-hot Ambika Lal dress. The ruffled bottom, halter-neck cut, detailing, accessories, makeup – everything works out perfectly for Kinnari’s debut at Cannes 2024.
The Patiala Boy made it to Cannes! Seeing Shehzaan Khan go from Laung Da Lashkara to one of the most prestigious film festivals is truly heartwarming! He wore a chic white shirt from Nivedita Saboo Couture paired with baggy black pants. Shehzaan is also teaching a class in Paris today. Way to go!
Her 7th time at Cannes and 12th time at the red carpet, Diipa Buller-Khosla is a true veteran of this global event. Her futuristic look had our jaws hanging in the air! Diipa looks like a mermaid from the future in that gown from Valdrin Sahiti‘s Vortex Collection. The hair, the makeup, the outfit, Diipa has hit it out of the park with her look and we can’t wait to see more!
It’s giving spicy baby mama! Masoom Minawala Mehta adorned this incredible red beauty by Amit Aggarwal for the Cannes Red Carpet. Trust Masoom to gracefully carry literally any outfit!
And the princess feels continue with Aastha Shah‘s next look. Calling herself the “Greenest flag on the red carpet at Cannes,” this Vitiligo Queen is killing it in this Fouad Sarkis gown.
Vishnu Kaushal looked suave as he attended the Brut India after-party. He wore a shimmery blue blazer suit from Contrast by Parth. We’re definitely digging this look on Vishnu.
The finance influencer, entrepreneur, and podcaster Raj Shamani turned up in a Rohit Doshi outfit. He looks so cool and effortless adorning that jacket. Raj totally understood the assignment.
Finance maestros Sharan Hegde and Ayush Shukla opted for contrasting looks to each other. While Sharan opted for a striped, tan co-ord set, Ayush chose a relaxed fit.
We are totally enjoying watching our Indian creators shine bright at Festival de Cannes this year in the most stylish ensembles! We cannot wait for everyone’s next looks to drop!
