Decoding The Looks of the ‘Thank You For Coming’ Gang

The Bollywood film industry has seen a major shift in terms of genres and perspectives. From the grandeur of Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies representing the royalty of characters of the yesteryears to the classic comedies addressing topics that are often left unsaid, the transition has been nothing but impressive. Another shift has come with creators serving great roles in top-class movies alongside the already-existing stellar celebs. One of the latest movies that is all ready to set the stage on fire is the sex comedy Thank You For Coming. The glamorous star cast features Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill alongside influencers Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi. While the movie is still in the “most anticipated” phase, the Kaleshi girls are seen in supremely gorgeous looks for their film promotions. Let’s give you a glimpse of some of our favourite OOTDs these girls wore for the promotions.

For day 1 of the “Thank You For Coming” promos, Bhumi Pednekar was seen flaunting her timeless beauty in a custom Nikhil Kolhe short and flowy white dress. Kusha Kapila looked nothing but gorgeous, showing off her curves in a pink and red ombre co-ord set by Shivan & Naresh and Shweta Kapur. Shehnaaz Gill brought out the sexy in her with a scintillating orange deep V-neck dress by Miakee. The structured, short black dress featuring beautiful floral detailing by Nikhil Kolhe made Dolly Singh look nothing less than a diva turning heads. Shibani Bedi was seen in a black and blue slit dress by Antithesis. Each of their outfits was an artistic masterpiece that was truly “out of the box”.

The girls’ gang served fashion goals decked up in black and shiny outfits that complemented each one of their stylish avatars. Bhumi dolled up in black wide-leg trousers paired with a sexy latex button-down vest, showing off her toned abs. Shehnaaz, on the other hand, amped up her fashion game with a black leather dress featuring cut-out detailing on the bust and halter neck paired with eye-catching metallic boots. The influencers turned actors, Kusha, Shibani, and Dolly, were the real showstoppers at the party. Kusha’s bodycon maxi dress featuring zebra print and plunging neckline, Dolly’s shimmery mesh dress, and Shibani’s three-piece ensemble comprised of baggy trousers, zebra-print corset, and leather trench coat only took the glam quotient of the party notches higher.

One of their most talked-about film promotions was their visit to the new parliament building. Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Shibani Bedi, and Dolly Singh looked nothing short of mesmerising in their exquisite floral sarees, posing alongside I&B Minister Anurag Thakur. The cast was also seen sharing their POVs about the Women’s Reservation Bill during the visit.

The greatest achievement of the “Thank You For Coming” team, including the father-daughter duo producers, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, was a standing ovation for the film at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). While the overwhelming response of the audience to Karan Boolani’s chick flick TYFC was indeed a remarkable goal achieved, it was the star cast’s stunning looks that created a buzz. Each actress put their best fashion foot forward in breathtaking ensembles that were made to shine.

The “Dum Lagake Haisha” actress, Bhumi, wore a Toni Maticevski strapless gown featuring an acid wash print, an asymmetrical hem, a thigh-high slit, and a floor-sweeping train, paired with chunky silver heels by René Caovilla. She chose to ditch the accessories, which we have nothing to complain about. Shehnaaz Gill looked like a doll, dazzling in her shimmery, plunging neckline gown with matching arm gloves. Her classic top bun, bronze makeup look, drop earrings, nude heels, and glittery dress made her look straight out of heaven.

Kusha Kapila looked drop-dead gorgeous in her lavender number, featuring a bodycon silhouette, a plunging neckline, and a train at the back. Her subtle makeup look, along with this beautiful dress, elevated her charm. Shibani Bedi chose to step out in style from head to toe, dressed in a black gown with one sleeve and a side slit. Her sleek hairstyle, minimal jewellery, and coral makeup added a touch of elegance to her bold appeal. Dolly Singh made a statement dressed in an all-white ensemble. She wore an elegant two-piece set of a sculpted bralette and figure-hugging skirt that were lavishly adorned with floral embellishments. Her minimal makeup, straight hair look, and floral choker added to her unrivalled aesthetic appeal.

The fabulously fashionable girls were recently seen having fun as they released the beautiful new rendition of ‘Pari Hoon Main‘ voiced by the supremely talented Sunidhi Chauhan & our very own Rani KoHEnur a.k.a. Sushant Divgikr.

As the girls continue to serve looks, we can’t wait to watch the fun unveil on the big screen. Tell us about your views in the comment section below, and don’t forget to mark your calendars for October 6, 2023, as the film makes its way to your nearest theatres.
