The Cannes Festival, which was known as the International Film Festival until 2003 is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from all around the world.

The film festival is always special as it’s attended by hundreds of celebrities, designers, creators, brands, and more. It is the capital of cinema and known worldwide for its trade fairs but also for its prestigious luxury hotels (Le Martinez, le Carlton…) frequented by film stars and other wealthy tourists. Cannes is the famous Palais des Festivals which rolls out the red carpet every year for the stars of world cinema.

Female Indian Content Creators at Cannes Film Festival

The interesting fact about this Cannes is the people who are attending it this time. There are Indian content creators who are not only making space and appearance at Cannes but are acing it with their outfits and performance.

Masoom Minawala

Masoom Minawala is an Indian content creator who has been making content for over a decade now. She is one of the first creators of the now rapidly-growing global influencer industry. Masoom has been on HSBC’s list of leading female entrepreneurs worldwide as well as CNN’s ’20 under 40′ list. She has been to the Cannes Film festival three times before, and this time she just slayed in a floral gown by  @yousefakbarofficial which was styled by @anaitashroffadajania.

Niharika Nm

The comedian girl, Niharika Nm, who made our 2020 easy with light laughter content has made it to The Cannes as well. She went to the festival dressed in a beautiful outfit by @yousefakbarofficial which was styled by @theanisha. She made her red carpet debut for World Influencer Blogger Awards (WIBA), and won the “Youth Icon-Entertainer of the Year 2022”!

Tarini Peshawaria

Tarini Peshawaria is a digital creator who solves people’s queries and doubts about skin problems and more. She has been posting content related to skincarehaircare, and minimal makeup. Tarini made her debut at the Cannes Festival this year and looked like a precious blue doll as she walked the red carpet. She was wearing @ambikalal that was styled by @sakshi312. Peshawaria has talked about the nervousness and anxiety before walking the red carpet.

Diipa Büller Khosla

Diipa Büller-Khosla who is a fashion and beauty influencer & cofounder of her foundation Post For Change. She has her own cosmetic brand by the name of @indewild. This was her fifth Cannes Festival and she glazed it beautifully wearing a @manishmalhotraworld sari, which was styled by @manishmalhotra05 himself. In an Instagram post, she mentioned, “5 years ago was a first for me and a first for an Indian influencer. Luckily it was definitely not the last for both those categories and only the beginning of a new era. Our era. So proud to see the #representation growing over the years with the epitome this year as the share of Desi talent attending has never been greater. Red carpet watch out. Malvika Sitlani Aryan

Malvika Sitlani is a digital creator and co-founder & CEO of @masicbeautyofficial. She started her modeling career in 2011, and also participated in the beauty pageant ‘Femina Miss India 2011‘. Malvika went on to win ‘PCJ Femina Miss Timeless Beauty’ and ‘Pune Marriott Femina Miss Model’. She is popular for her versatile style and has also graced the cover page of the magazine – British Vogue. At Cannes Festival, she wore a eyecatching orange dress by @millia.london.
