Dhvani Bhanshuali Makes Waves With Her Latest, Garbo, Penned By PM Narendra Modi

Navratri season is our favourite season because it’s the fusion season. Fusion music, fusion looks and sometimes, a few fusion recipes too. However, one crossover we did not see coming was an exciting fusion of politics and music, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, ventured into the world of songwriting, penning the lyrics for a Garba-themed song. This creative action marks a unique departure for the leader of the world’s largest democracy, showcasing his multifaceted talents beyond his political career. The Garba song titled Garbo has been sung by the talented Dhvani Bhanushali and has been making waves since it was released as a music video under the guidance of Tanishk Bagchi.

Prime Minister Modi’s Foray into Songwriting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a social media star who has huge following. He never disappoints his fans and keeps them updated through Instagram and X. He also shared the news of him being the lyricist through his social media. The lyrics of Garbo were written by the Prime Minister long before and now was sung by Dhvani Bhanushali in her mesmerising voice.

This isn’t the first time Prime Minister Modi has tried his hand at songwriting. In 2019, his poem Shyam Ke Rogan Rele was transformed into a song for the web series Modi: The Journey Of A Common Man. The song, voiced by Sonu Nigam and composed by Salim-Sulaiman, resonated with audiences and further established the Prime Minister’s creative abilities. He also wrote the lyrics to another Navratri special recently titled Maadi.
