#NavNaari: Celebrating the nine forms of Goddess Durga by highlighting stories of women who reflect a quality of each Devi.

It’s the last day of Navratri 2024 today. For these nine days, devotees have been honouring Goddess Durga and her nine forms, celebrating her victorious battles against evil. Each of the nine days is devoted to a specific form of Durga. Today, October 11, marks the tenth & the final day of Navratri – Navami. Today, devotees worship Siddhidatri/ Mahalakshmi/ Ardhanarishvara – the guardian & bestower form of Durga. She personifies 9 siddhis and embodies Mahashakti or the supreme goddess who created the universe.

One such creator who comes to our mind as someone who depicts these qualities is Sushant Divgikr a.k.a. Rani KoHEnur! To be honest, I would say that I have been a drag performer since my school days. I would sing in two voices and was always good on stage, so was the natural choice for competitions representing the school. However, I was never judged at home. They believed that kids should never be subjected to any kind of conditioning whatsoever,” Sushant said in an interview with The Better India.
