“Give Me My Money” Prank Trend Takes Over The Internet

Social media sites like Instagram and TikTok tend to be buzzing with various trends all the time. This time a harmless prank has the Internet hooked. The Give Me My Money” Prank Trend has captured the attention of creators and netizens alike. Everyone has been creating their version of this prank. From roping in their friends to family members, people are having a blast with the trend online!

What Is This Trend All About?

It’s basically a way to make your loved ones feel a little confused and embarrassed (in a good way!) The trend revolves around gathering a number of people together with everyone taking turns to say the phrase “Just Give Me My Money!” After each participant says it, the rest of the group cheers for them by clapping until they reach the victim.

When the chosen prank target says the phrase, no one cheers for them. Instead, they just stare at them in an awkward silence leaving them ‘confused and embarrassed’. The origin of this trend goes back to early 2024 when Kai Cenat and his co-streamers started saying the phrase “Give Me My Money!” to each other. It eventually spread to TikTok and Instagram creators and also celebrities – becoming a viral trend globally.

Let’s take you through some of our favourite creators’ versions of this prank trend:

The Laughter Chefs Cast

This trend is such that the more, the merrier. And here we saw the entire Laughter Chefs cast come together to prank comedian Sudesh Lahiri. It was hilarious to watch Jannat Zubair, Krushna Abhishek, Nia Sharma, Karan Kundrra, Reem Sameer Shaikh, Rahul Vaidya, and Vikas Jain do this challenge in their entertaining style!

The Darbars

This family’s chaotic energy is so infectious! Awez, Nagma, Moonzarin and Afaan did not 1 but 3 rounds of this prank targeting different family members. First, it was their Mom, next, their Nani and third, their Khaala. It was so cute to watch the three of them confused at the end of every prank!

Honey Imm Home

Mothers are just too precious! Especially Atulan’s mom. The ‘Honey Imm Home‘ boys – Atulan and Divesh decided to hop on the “Give Me My Money” trend by pranking Atulan’s mom. You have to watch till the end for her reaction! It’s adorable and hilarious at the same time!

Vishakha & Divesh

Vishakha, her sister and Divesh’s sister decided to prank the main man Divesh! As the game goes on, we see all three women do their rendition of the “Give Me My Money” phrase until it’s Divesh’s turn. He is met with complete silence. His mom saying “Yayy! Karo?!” from the background made us go “aww” and “LOL” at the same time! The comments section erupted with laughter as well.

Pushpek Sidhu With Mama & Papa Sidhu

This one has to be one of the most wholesome ones of the lot. Pushpek roped in his parents for this prank trend and the target was Papa Sidhu. Mama Sidhu and Pushpek left Papa Sidhu confused at the end as they didn’t cheer for him and then erupted into laughter. The family did two more variations of this trend along with Pushpek’s sister. All 3 of them and entertaining max!

The Karekar Trio

Tanvi Karekar and her brother Atharva decided to target their adorable mom for this prank trend. They instructed her about this game that they will play and she was super excited to be a part of it with her kids. When her turn came and the kids didn’t cheer, she left the frame visibly upset. Tanvi and Atharva must have had a hard time making it up to her but we sure had a great laugh!

The audience sure loves being entertained by their favourite creators. The views on these reels justify that notion. Almost all of them have millions of plays! The “Give Me My Money” prank trend is a great way to bring your loved ones together and have a hearty laugh. Have you tried this game with your friends and family yet? We 10/10 recommend this laugh riot!
