Each passing day witnesses a new update or a feature launch from social media platforms to upgrade the user experience. Continuing the mandate, Instagram has rolled out two new significant updates for the platform users. As a part of the new feature launches, individual profile embed options have been activated and secondly users will now be able to shuffle profile suggestions on their stories.
Although it’s reported that the feature has been around for a while now, few know how it works. Shuffle suggestions enable users to slim through the profiles on Stories. The suggestions are already customized according to user activity and interests.
With the shuffle option, users can just hit the ‘Shuffle Suggestions’ option provided at the bottom of the story to augment the consumer search activity on the application. Social Media expert Matt Navara uploaded the update on his Twitter account for visual reference.
Earlier publishing websites and third-party sites embeds could enable videos and post feature in-between content for the reader reference. Adam Mosseri, Instagram’s Head, took to Twitter to share a glimpse into the latest update from Instagram that includes IG Playback 2021, Reels Visual Relies, and Profile Embed option.
Mosseri informed that the profile embeds feature is currently available in the US only. It enables users to embed a miniature version of one’s profile on a website. If you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website or link to someone else’s, the feature can help you with the requirement.
Furthermore, the addition is not set in default mode in the app. Users need to choose to allow people to embed their posts and profiles on another website.
