As per latest news, Instagram is planning to add another feature to reels and has been working on the same. In a tweet by popular app developer Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram is working on the Text-to-Speech feature for Reels.
“Text-to-speech (TTS) technology reads aloud digital text — the words on computers, smartphones, and tablets.“
With TTS technology getting included into reels. People would now be able to hear the text or caption that users will be putting up in their reels. With ‘Create Desktop Posts‘ under work in progress too, the TTS feature will be a fruitful addition to Instagram’s user interface.
So far the feature is still under works and there has been no news about when it will be made available to the public.
