According to rumors, Instagram users will soon be able to play songs on their pages.
The social networking app is attempting to implement the feature, which will be available in the bio area, claims tech leaker Alessandro Paluzzi. He recently tweeted about the new update, saying, “Here is where your chosen music will be shown in your #Instagram bio.”
According to reports, the song of your choice will be shown near the bottom of your bio, under your bio link (s). The song is not currently being played, but before the formal release, this could change.
You can go to “Edit profile” and then choose the “Music” option to add a song. From there, you can look for a song and, if you like, add a caption to it.
That’s right, the function most frequently connected to Myspace profiles from the year 2006 (and, allegedly, Hinge profiles) may soon be available on an Instagram account near you.
Social media apps are constantly coming up with new changes and features to make sure that users are interested in the platform.
There’s no word on whether the song will play automatically, but in the latest screenshots, it looks like visitors will be able to play the song from the profile.
It looks like this feature isn’t yet in wide or even limited release, as they are already thinking about which songs they would want to highlight on their profiles.
