The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (CSMI) Airport of Mumbai turned pink on 17th October 2023 with the launch of Gen Z-favourite brands Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin. Launched by the illustrious American media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner, Kylie Cosmetics has been the rage amongst the younger generation ever since she launched her personal line of products. Her cosmetic empire swiftly captured the hearts of makeup enthusiasts worldwide with its innovative and high-quality products, especially the iconic lip kits.
Coty Travel Retail Asia Pacific has partnered with Mumbai Duty-Free to launch Kylie Cosmetics at the CSMI Airport. Located at a prime location, the store is home to the full range of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin products. Travellers can shop the brand’s skincare and beauty cosmetics, ranging from eyes to lips, including its travel-friendly kits. You can now get your hands on the Matte Lip Kit, High Gloss, Pressed Blush Powder, Kylash Volume Mascara and Skincare Discovery Set. Furthermore, shoppers can also explore the collection online and pre-order on Adani One.
From lip kits and blushes to the latest skincare launches, the arrival of Kylie Cosmetics at CSMI Airport is the perfect “festive season” gift for the city. So, whenever you travel from or to Mumbai Airport’s Terminal 2, you can now head over to explore one of the most sought-after cosmetics and skincare collections in the world, right here in the city. Highlighting the brand’s bestselling lip oils and skincare sets through eye-catching retail displays, this kiosk is sure to grab eyeballs.
The store is dressed in the brand’s signature blush-pink colour palette. An Instagrammable Vespa installation serves as the perfect selfie opportunity, while a makeup discovery zone encourages travellers to sample different makeup products. To top it all, Kylie beauty specialists are on-site to help travellers with flash makeover services, makeup consultations and bespoke beauty recommendations.
Both Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin offer the finest beauty products made with high-quality ingredients. With a commitment to cruelty-free and vegan formulations, the brand not only exemplifies glamour but also embraces ethical practices. Fashion and lifestyle creator Aastha Shah was probably the only creator at the store launch on Tuesday. She gave us a sneak peek of the store through her stories.
After its launch in 2015, this is the brand’s second launch in the Asia Pacific market, after the opening of its standalone store at Sydney Airport. Kylie Jenner’s product line is being brought to India by the beauty conglomerate Coty, which is the brand’s parent company since 2020, after acquiring a 51% stake in the brand in a US$1.2 billion deal. Known for housing a wide range of colour and complexion products, Kylie Cosmetics has built a loyal, international fan base and it continues to expand its product range.
This is a really exciting time for India’s retail market given that major international brands are now vying for a place in it with the hope of tapping the target audience here. This Kylie Cosmetics airport kiosk will hopefully expand into multiple stores in the city soon, making it more accessible for people.
