With festive mood and excitement, Rakhi or Raksha Bandhan celebrates the brother-sister bond, as per Hindu culture. Such a beautiful ceremony deserves pretty outfits too! But if you’re not ready with your one, fret not! ‘Cause fashionistas are here to ease your worries with their last-minute outfit inspo, especially for Raksha Bandhan!
Without any further ado, let’s take a peek at Rakhi outfit inspo by five creators:
In her first look “the badi behen”, Komal wore a dark gray Biba’s women cotton suit set with matching jewellery from her wardrobe. Her second look “the understated but beautiful” consisted of a printed women’s synthetic kurta from Biba. She paired it with some matching jewellery from her wardrobe. In “the over-excited, Bollywood brat”, her third outfit included women’s poly crepe floral printed saree from Womanista and Sukkhi dazzling pearl choker necklace set for women.
Last but not the least, in her fourth look as “the boho fashun-queen”, she paired a yellow women’s straight salwar suit set from Biba with Womanista’s women’s green & pink floral printed georgette saree as an overcoat. She also adorned Zaveri Pearl’s green stones & beads multi-strand traditional choker necklace & earring set. All these aesthetic outfits and accessories are available on Amazon!
Transitioning her way, Ritvi’s first outfit was a multi-colour tie & dye dress from House Of सRI. Her second outfit consisted of a blue tie & dye dress from House Of सRI and a white saree from Eternity by Sakshi. In her third look, she wore a lilac kurta set from House of Chikankari. Once again, she wore a yellow kurta set from House of Chikankari as her fourth outfit. In her fifth outfit, she wore The Saree Sutra’s black saree with trueBrowns’ blouse. She paired a silver choker from Bauble Love and silver earrings from Riwaayat in her first three outfits. In her last two outfits, she wore a gold necklace set from Eera – The Jewellery Studio.
With a modern touch and traditional designs, Sristi paired a white shirt from Ajio with a printed boho bag from Max as her first outfit. In her second outfit, she wore a green wrap top from Kaira and she paired it with an orange sling bag from Forever 21. All the oxidised pieces of jewellery that she wore were from the flea market of Gariahat, Kolkata.
Simren’s first look consisted of a light pink kurta from Mangaldas Market, Mumbai. In her second look, she wore a bright coloured dress from Kalki Fashion. Her saree in her fourth look is from At 44. She wore it with a black crop top and pants. Finally, in her fifth look, she dressed up in a pink ghagra and Karti designer top from a mall in Borivali.
Nistha went for a fusion look as her Rakhi outfit. She wore Monk & Mei’s pink Aaliyah silk jacket-dhoti set in beautiful bandhani print with a white crop top. She finished her look by pairing oxidised jewellery from Myntra and a pair of jutti with her whole outfit.
