Latest update on Twitter lets users search for specific messages, capture own GIFs & more

After several tests and feedback, Twitter has finally rolled out the ‘Search Bar‘ in direct messages that will let users search for specific messages. The Twitter Support team has officially announced the latest update through the handle.

With the help of keywords and names, Twitter users can easily find messages in the slew of DMs in their inboxes.

In yet another update, for android users, the microblogging site has made changes in the push notifications. The Tweets from your ‘following’ push alerts could be silent by default. You can turn the alert sounds on in your device settings.
