Mayur Jumani, Viraj Ghelani And His Nani Drop A Parody Diss Track On The Famous Garba Song ‘Sanedo’

As the Garba season captivates the nation, Music Composer, Producer, and Lyricist, Mayur Jumani playfully jabs at Actor and Content Creator, Viraj Ghelani by teaming up with his nani.

Mumbai, October 2024: The festival that makes everyone tap their feet to the beats of Garba is finally here and everyone is celebrating it in their own way. Dressing up, going to domes, and performing Garba become part of everyone’s routine. However, one thing that adds fun to the sessions is the upbeat music and the light-hearted banter with your loved ones. Keeping the same in mind, Music composer, producer, and lyricist, Mayur Jumani released a playful diss video for actor and content creator, Viraj Ghelani featuring a rap from his internet sensation, Nani.

The Parody of Sanedo

In the fun music composition by Mayur, taking a jab at Viraj’s life choices, his Nani teasingly raps while reminding him of his age, and how he should get married and pick up the pace of life. She also playfully points out that their home isn’t a hotel, urging him to help with the chores. In the song, Nani affectionately refers to Viraj as ‘Gadhedo,’ playfully altering the popular Gujarati tune ‘Sanedo.’ While ‘Gadhedo’ literally means ‘donkey’ in Gujarati, it’s used here in a lighthearted way to tease him as being a bit of a laidback grandson!

A while back, she captured hearts when she expressed her emotional attachment to the character ‘Anupamaa’ from the popular titular TV show, breaking into tears when the character faced a life-threatening moment.

Mayur’s Magic

On the other hand, capturing the spirit of Navratri, Mayur has been transforming Garba songs for a mini-Navartri series, creating a vibrant rendition of some popular songs. He started the series in collaboration with internet sensation Darshan Magdum where they re-imagined Coldplay’s hit “Hymn for the Weekend.”

He also released a musical rendition of “Shubh Arambh” featuring Malhar Kalambe, founder of Beach Please and environmentalist. In this creative version, the melody is brought to life using discarded glass bottles and other beach litter, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness while keeping up with the Navratri feel.
