MTV VMAs: Celebs serving looks and more!

It is that time of the year again! YES! MTV VMAs 2022 are here! And are we excited to see who wore what on the red carpet? Of course.

The 2022 MTV VMAs that was held on 28th August at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey—had a trio of hosts LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, and Jack Harlow, and the highly anticipated performers include Blackpink, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Lizzo, Panic! At the Disco, Maneskin, and Anitta. The most nominated musicians, up for the prestigious video of the year accolade, are Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and Lil Nas X, wrote Vogue.

Before the performers hit the main VMAs stage, however, Hollywood’s top stars will made an appearance on the red carpet in their splashiest and boldest outfits. The VMAs have a history of creating memorable outfits, and here are the few outfits that definitely made head turns at the VMAs.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has always got fans’ eyes on her with her killing outfits that shimmer differently through the crowd. The look perfectly complemented Swift’s swept-aside bangs and strappy silver heels. She wore Oscar de la Renta. Another win from an icon with a long history of VMAs red-carpet stunners.

Lizzo

The singer wore a stunning, voluminous midnight-blue Jean Paul Gaultier gown. To make it all the more catchy she styled it with a matching blue lip, “wet hair,” and stacks of gold hoops.

Lil Nas

What can we say about this absolute stunner outfit that is definitely out-of-the-world! He wore something black on the red carpet which wasn’t an ordinary VMA award outfit. It was something else that made sure everyone tries to understand what is it and how is it!

Black Pink

One of the Blackpink members’ many talents is their ability to match—as expected of an ensemble. Their VMAs look was no exception, with each girl in their signature Celine, Dior, Chanel, or Saint Laurent, they looked beautiful. Black-on-black is typical, but with some clever piece selection, Blackpink managed to make it dazzling!

Becky G

Becky G wore a tarot-inspired Zuhair Murad gown that looked like panels of stained glass, stitched together with an eyebrow-raising side panel. Paired with a red lip and blowout, the look achieved exactly what it set out to do.

Dylan O’ Brien

A tank top on the red carpet! Not every actor can pull that off but Dylan O’Brien did it smoothly and it shows. Sunglasses, chain necklaces—and the look goes from choice to statement.

Jack Harlow

To end the article with the dashing host. Well, he definitely stole the show with his lewks (is that still a word lingo, lol)
