MythPat and MostlySane recreate Rohit Shetty’s action scenes as Sooryavanshi premiers on Netflix India

The hullabaloo around Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryanvanshi refuses to slow down. The movie hit the silver screen around Diwali in early November and continues to rule the box office accumulating 190 plus crores so far. A few more days and the film could be seen clocking another milestone to enter the 200 crores club.

A month after its theatrical release, Sooryavanshi is set to hit the digital screen with Netflix India signing the deal with the helmers. According to media reports, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty have been offered a whopping INR 100 crore by the OTT giant to seal the deal.

Netflix being Netflix has kickstarted the buzz around the digital premiere of Sooryavanshi on the platform initially with a high-voltage announcement followed by the launch of apromotional BTS video. The OTT platform has roped in popular creators Prajakta Koli AKA MostlySane and Mithilesh Patankar AKA MythPat to recreate Rohit Shetty’s action scenes and shoot an audition sequence for his next.

What’s next? The creator duo claims to get a call from the director himself for the shoot and start prepping up for the role. They approach ace action director Sunil Rodrigues AKA ROD to train them for the stunts giving it a filmy touch. After various unrealistic suggestions from the creators, ROD decides to direct them for the epic ‘Singham’ entry scene.

To their surprise, MostlySane and MythPat bump into each other at the shoot location and argue over their presence at the spot. MythPat goes on to accuse MostlySane of stealing his action director. Meanwhile, the crew is seen prepping up for the shoot with camera equipment rolling around and the persons at work.

While the BTS about shooting a stunt action sequence is sure to keep the viewers hooked with all the technology involved, it’s equally exciting to see the creators performing the stunts enthusiastically. The video takes you on a rollercoaster journey literally with the cameras, dolly shots, skate-led operations, inputs from the stunts director about the scenes, and most importantly MythPat and MostlySane’s role in it.

Eventually, they too realize that it’s not a cakewalk to perform the stunts especially when they are helmed by the powerhouse himself- Rohit Shetty. The climax is for you to see…
