Celebrating 10 years of OnePlus, the company has announced a multi-genre music festival “OnePlus AI Music Festival“ in India. The global technology brand has set the stage for a musical spectacle with the announcement of the Festival’s electrifying line-up. Slated for December 17, 2023, at the Manpho Convention Centre in Bengaluru, this musical extravaganza is set to host an unmatched fusion of styles and genres, showcasing a diverse array of global talents.
The day-long festival is another new entrant in the already-packed live music events calendar, featuring international and Indian artists mounting big tours and festival shows alike. The OnePlus AI Music Festival is linked to the launch of OnePlus’ AI Music Studio, which was announced on November 22, 2023. The technology brand has revealed the lineup for its upcoming OnePlus AI Music Festival. Promising a dynamic fusion of various musical styles and genres, the festival will showcase the talents of globally recognized artists.
Speaking on the festival, Ishita Grover, Head of Marketing OnePlus India said, “Our dedication to engaging with our community drives us to innovate continuously. The OnePlus AI Music Festival embodies this commitment by providing an immersive platform for our vibrant community. It serves as a unique space beyond music, fostering collaboration and creativity. This represents our dedication to providing dynamic experiences that transcend boundaries—a testament to OnePlus’ unwavering commitment to its community.”
Through the OnePlus AI Music Festival, the brand aims to amplify the voices of its community members and dance to some of the most electrifying artists of 2023, all whilst celebrating 10 years of OnePlus. “This curated lineup of artists represents a convergence of global talent, promising an unforgettable sonic journey for attendees at the OnePlus AI Music Festival. Stay tuned for more updates and surprises as the event approaches,” said the company.
Grammy Award-winning producer and multi-platinum-selling electronic dance music artist, Afrojack has been announced as the headlining act for the event. Joining the star-studded lineup is Ritviz, a 27-year-old indie artist known for his distinctive fusion of Indian traditional music, hip-hop, and electronica. He released his album Mimmi in 2022 and accumulated over one billion streams on Spotify as an artist.
With a global sound that spans languages and genres, Swedish DJ and producer Diorange is set to join the party. With over 200 million views across platforms, including his version of A.R. Rahman and Nooran Sisters’ song “Ali Ali,” he is no stranger to commanding the stage. He makes a quick return to India, following his debut tour of the country in October 2023.
Kayan, the musical alter ego of Ambika Nayak, brings a diverse touch to the festival, skillfully navigating through genres like soul, electronic, pop, and R&B. With previous appearances at prominent events like NH7 Weekender, Zomaland, YouTube Fan Fest 2023, and Lollapalooza India, Kayan adds a multifaceted musical palette to the festival.
Lost Stories, the dynamic duo of Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi, recognized as ‘Scene Starters‘ by DJ Mag, will contribute their unique fusion of ethnic and folk music with electronica. Notably, Lost Stories holds the distinction of being the first Indian entity to perform at the Tomorrowland Music Festival four times. They will perform on the back of releasing their new folk-informed EP Jogan/Preet.
Adding to the mix are Pro Bros (Progressive Brothers), the dynamic duo of Sunny Sharma and Karan Bhalla, recognised as pioneers in India’s electronic music scene. With chart-topping releases and a reputation as ‘Mashup Masters,’ Pro Bros are set to bring their high-energy live performances to the OnePlus AI Music Festival.
The OnePlus AI Music Festival is more than just a gathering; it’s a celebration of creativity, technology, and the vibrant spirit of the OnePlus community. At its heart lies a groundbreaking initiative – the OnePlus AI Music Studio, empowering enthusiasts to step into the realm of composers, seamlessly blending genres using cutting-edge AI technologies. Moreover, the OnePlus AI Music Festival offers a pre-event leg, enabling users to utilise the AI-driven tool to create original music. Additionally, the best compositions will be sampled by renowned global artists, live at the event.
Tickets for the festival are up for grabs on Paytm Insider.
It’s not the first time OnePlus has had a music festival. In 2019, they hosted a massive day-long festival at D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, headlined by pop stars like Katy Perry and Dua Lipa. With tickets on sale now, the tech brand promises “more updates and surprises as the event approaches.”
