OTT Binge-watch list for the weekend!

The weekend is here and so are we- with a list for you to binge watch while you chill at home in this weather. No wonder OTT platforms are always in a rush and competition to bring the best content. Every month, multiple films and web series are released on the OTT platforms.

OTT releases to watch out

Here are some of our suggestions to add up to your list.

She season 2 on Netflix

After much expectations, Netflix India has dropped the Season 2 of Imtiaz Ali’s crime-drama series, ‘SHE’. In an action packed season, Aaditi Pohankar reprises her bold role as Bhumika Pardeshi (Bhumi), as a constable who goes undercover as a sex worker to discover the secrets in the dark alleys of Mumbai’s underbelly. The show’s season two is released on 17th June and is now streaming on Netflix.

o2 on Disney+ Hotstar

O2 is a pretty engaging survival drama which differentiates between force and real heroism. We sometimes seem to confuse heroism with physical prowess. But, heroes come in all shapes and sizes. In O2, director-writer GS Viknesh hacks into our paranoia of running out of the very substance that sustains our life-oxygen. The movie is now streaming on DisneyPlus Hotstar.

Recce on zee5

Recce is a Zee5 original series . It is based in Tadipatri village, sub-inspector Lenin is given the task of solving a dual murder case. His investigation leads him to the dark underbelly of familial relationships. The show is released on 17th June and has 7 episodes in its first season.

Jayamma Panchayathi on Amazon Prime

Jayamma Panchayathi is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu. The film stars Suma Kanakala. It released on 6th May 2022 and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It is about how a woman wakes up in a cryogenic chamber with no recollection of how she got there, and she must find a way out before running out of air.
