They also received the YouTube Golden Play Button a few months ago. We explored their content creation journey and sisterhood this Raksha Bandhan. Read on to learn all about these talented sisters:
The Shukla Sisters started content creation around four years ago during COVID-19. They were at home and suddenly Shristi and Ananya got the idea of making videos on YouTube. “The positive response from our family and friends encouraged us to share our dances on social media. From there, it evolved into a passion that we decided to pursue more seriously,” they said.
Their bond as sisters significantly influences their creative process. “We have a good understanding of each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and styles, which makes our collaboration seamless. Our close relationship allows us to communicate effectively and support each other through creative challenges. This strong connection helps us synchronize our movements and ideas,” the sisters shared.
The Shukla Sisters play on each other’s strengths and preferences. That’s what makes their content so engaging. “One of us handles choreography, another focuses on video editing, while the third manages our social media presence. The fourth sister often takes on the role of director, ensuring that everything is going as planned. We also rotate roles occasionally, everyone is involved in all aspects of the process,” they explained.
“It’s is all about communication and compromise,” said the dancer siblings. “We always take the time to listen to each other’s perspectives and try to understand the underlying reasons for any disagreements. If tensions arise, we take a break and revisit the issue with a clear mind. Our love helps us resolve conflicts quickly and move forward as a team,” they added.
When it comes to Srishti, Shradda, Ananya, and Vidhi, every sister possesses unique strengths and talents. How do they bring out the best in each other? “We provide feedback and encourage each other to step out of our comfort zones, we ensure that everyone feels valued and contributes meaningfully to our content creation process. Making time for personal life and interests, cheering each other on in all our endeavours is essential,” shared the sisters.
“It requires careful planning and communication. We set specific times for rehearsals, filming, and editing, ensuring that it doesn’t interfere with our personal commitments. Flexibility is key, and we support each other in maintaining this balance.”
“One of our funniest BTS moments happened when we were shooting for a cold drink brand and one of us just spilled everything on the other. We were filming a particular dance routine. We all bursted into laughter and ended up making it a fun video. All our shoots and BTS are funny and usually posted on our highlights as well.”
The Shuka Sisters consider Raksha Bandhan to be a special day for them. One of our traditions is to tie rakhis to each other and also to our pet whose name is Tuffy. We also spend quality time and enjoy the festive meal.
The bond of sisterhood is truly special. The Shukla Sisters are proof. Not only do they have the cutest bond as siblings but they also kill it as a dance quadruple! Who says Raksha Bandhan is only for brothers and sisters? Celebrate every bond that makes you feel protected and loved. Go tell your siblings, how much you love them, after irritating them of course! Happy Raksha Bandhan!
