Ranbir Kapoor In Animal Has Got Everyone Drooling, The Internet Reacts

The trailer of one of the most anticipated films dropped yesterday and instantly set the Internet ablaze. We are talking about none other than Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s Animal. The initial looks of Ranbir from the movie and the teaser had already created a buzz amongst the viewers, but this trailer is truly one-of-its-kind. Your first actual look at the gruesome rivalry between Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol’s equally raw and dark characters is finally here.

And from the looks of the trailer, which was unveiled by the cast and makers on November 23, 2023, Thursday, Animal’s going to be a thrilling ride. The trailer hops from intense to bloody in no time, with all your favourites present. Alongside Ranbir and Bobby, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in lead roles in Animal. Ranbir is seen in his bloodiest avatar yet – wielding everything from a knife to an axe, to a machine gun mercilessly.

The trailer showcases Ranbir Kapoor’s troubled relationship with his father Balbir (played by Anil Kapoor) and how it changes (for better or worse). Ranbir Kapoor’s character has idolised his father ever since childhood but his love has never been reciprocated. It would be fair to say that Ranbir’s villain arc begins at home. It’s giving Kabir Singh + KGF vibes with a hint of Sanju (given Ranbir’s long-haired look). The film is all set to be released in theatres on December 1, 2023.

From Anil Kapoor and Ranbir’s dynamic to Rashmika and his love story to Lord Bobby as a villain, everyone is super excited to witness the crazy unfold on the big screen. Ever since the trailer came out, people have put up their reactions to it, let’s take you through some of them:

Producer Reacts is a popular YouTube channel run by Teacher Paul Song who reviews various films and shows. He reacted to the Animal trailer with his wife Lia. Both of them were quite engaged and shocked on occasion. “The guns just get bigger and bigger!” exclaimed Paul. Lia said, “The level of violence in this movie is just supernatural.” The movie releases on Paul’s birthday which is exciting for them. They were overwhelmed by the trailer but quite liked it.

Jaby Koay runs the YouTube channel Cine Desi and he reviewed the trailer as well. The initial scene between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor reminded him of Tamasha a bit – given the whole exaggerated “pretend” theme of it. The bike shot of Ranir smoking felt like an homage to Vanga’s iconic Kabir Singh where Shahid is seen entering the same way. He found the cinematography and certain shots to be quite dope. “Very stimulating trailer, just visually stunning!” he said. He found it interesting that here the toxicity denoted by Ranbir is not towards his love interest but his obsession with his father.

This meme definitely sums up our reaction during this scene as well. Goosebumps!

Sureet and Steve from Magic Flicks also reacted to this viral trailer. Their expressions ranged from shocked to impressed to vibing with the soundtrack, screaming – they were just into it. “I have seen so many trailers this year, but this one kills it!” says Steve. Sureet was tripping on Bobby’s scene at the end of the trailer. “It seems like three and a half hours well worth of watch. It looks awesome. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it looks like you have a masterpiece coming here,” praised Steve.

YouTuber Deeksha Sharma says, “Inn teen minutes ko trailer nahi, ek earthquake ghoshit kar dena chahiye jiss see saare box office ke records kaanpne lagenge.” She feels like Animal is a film that finally fits Ranbir’s talent as an actor and will do justice to his brilliance. It’s going to be a performance to remember for the ages. The trailer’s USP is its mystery factor – they showed everything yet did not give it all away. the Director has a great vision regarding its commercial performance as well. She gave out an inside information – there is a chance Bobby’s character is mute in the film.

An X user drew a parallel between Ranbir acting in Rajneeti vs. Animal. In the previous film also he is vengeful regarding his father’s death but his composure is completely calm even while threatening. Just goes to show the range this brilliant actor possesses.

We couldn’t agree more with all of these reactions. Ranbir Kapoor is truly a ‘Rockstar’ in every way and we can’t wait to witness the performance of the stunning actor that he is on the big screen. Given that the movie is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, you know it’s going to be a blockbuster along with Rashmika’s charm and Anil sir’s excellence.
