After YouTube notified of its policy changes, Sandeep Maheshwari questioned YouTube openly stating the unfair clauses. Just after this tussle, he quickly formed his new channel SMtv where there’s no advertising and subscription.
Here’s his ‘An Open Letter to YouTube India’:
On May 28, 2021, Sandeep notified everyone about his new channel through social media. In his video on SMtv ‘The Vision Behind SMtv’, he clearly stated that to not disturb the netizens, he didn’t add subscription, comment, like, and dislike buttons. He aims to get real viewers who are genuinely interested in learning something from him. He’s not after fame or money, so his channel is hugely different from any other platform we have ever seen.
