The Actor VS Director Video by BakkBenchers Raises the Bar for Creativity

Bakkbenchers, who are also renowned for their popular Chutzpah Trailers, recently shared an incredibly talented video featuring a scene from Bajirao Mastani that is brimming with creativity. One Digital Entertainment, India’s leading digital content and creator network, also published this video digitally.

But before that, let us talk about their journey so far, shall we? It’s only right that we begin with talking about the Chutzpah Trailers now that we have discussed it. Their debut video, Gangs of Wasseypur, was launched in 2016 and has received over 5 million views to date. Kuch Kuch Hota, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, My Name is Khan, and Gadar were the next four videos to air. They posted it to YouTube, Facebook, and other social media sites, and it has over 8 million views.

The ‘Mass Bunking’ video, which Bakkbenchers collaborated on with Prajakta Koli (@mostlysane) in 2018, also earned millions of views.

Let us now, without further ado, discuss the video in question. This ‘Actor vs. Director’ debate, with a fresh Krishna twist, will outperform all other digital creative material and set a new high for the genre. The script’s excellence makes you want to discuss the remarkable creative thought process. Furthermore, the acting makes you want to watch it again and over again, and each time you do, you will be inspired as well as entertained.

The writing essentially turns the severity of this sequence from Bajirao Mastani into a comical twist. It holds a debate between the director’s role, essentially played by Powell Jadaun and the actor, Ranveer Singh. It is such an exceptional video that I felt compelled to write an article on it. With much more content being published on a regular basis, I envision this content going a long way, with attribution to this video as a stepping stone.

Another aspect to it is that it was shot in an enclosed space in the One Digital Entertainment studio. So, it took a lot of editing to make it look like a big space as shown in the video. I have some ‘Behind the Scenes’ pictures that I would love to share with you.

Enjoy watching until my pen writes more for you, will you?
