Viraj Ghelani Is Now Engaged To His Girlfriend Palak Khimavat, A Walk Through Their Romance

Viraj Ghelani, as a content creator has gained immense popularity in the social media realm to become a household name. One of the most loved YouTubers and an actor now, Viraj is officially taken. The creator who makes us laugh till we cry through his hilariously relatable videos got engaged to his girlfriend of 4 years, Palak Khimavat on December 12, 2023.

The lovebirds made a collaborative post sharing pictures from their intimate engagement ceremony while flaunting their rings and captioned it “Roomie for life❤️💍” He finally dropped the news on his Instagram page after teasing his followers on his Broadcast Channel since Tuesday.

After asking his followers if he should finally announce the big news of his life, he put up the engagement post along with a series of stories. One said, “It’s Not Reel It’s Real”. While sharing their ring ceremony picture, he wrote “Jiska shaadi ho gaya Sab log tips dedo” Being his hilarious self he also shared a picture comparing Palak’s lehenga size to that of a bean bag wondering how women pull off such heavy lehengas.

Yesterday marked a new chapter in the life of social media influencer-turned-actor Viraj Ghelani and pastry chef Palak Khimavat as the couple went from being girlfriend-boyfriend to fiancées. They celebrated their union with their close friends and family members. A lot of Viraj’s influencer friends were present on his happy occasion too. Viraj is now set to enter the Gujarati film industry in his first-ever lead role alongside Gujarati actress Manasi Parekh in the film Jhamkudi. 

The popular YouTuber had also grabbed headlines for his notable cameo in the blockbuster film Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanjay Dutt. He also played Bhumi Pednekar’s boyfriend in the movie Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, directed by Shashank Khaitan.

Meanwhile, Palak is a pastry chef and baker who specialises in baking customised healthy cakes and desserts. She is the founder of Healthy Mess that caters to Vegan, Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free, and Keto-Friendly decadent sweet delicacies that are as healthy as they are yummy. Palak worked at The Messy House earlier. She has curated a very aesthetic Instagram feed for herself – filled with great fashion looks and sweet memories with her loved ones.

Their Romantic Journey

Viraj and Palak met each other through mutual friends in the year 2019. They then took their friendship to the next level as they began dating each other. Let’s take you through their journey as a couple on social media:

With the onset of a lockdown in 2020, Viraj and Palak put up cute posts for each other while missing the other one. Viraj wrote, “Where ever you are, I swear I’ll be. Already missing -“pick me up”

They both started dropping hints on social media. By March 2020, both had posted pictures with each other on their respective profiles.

When the lovebirds completed a year in 2020, Viraj put up a post comparing how they were awkward when they met in 2019 vs a year later. He captioned it – “From standing awkwardly in 2019 to making the world around us awkward in 2020 We complete 1❤️“
