Did you ever find a WhatsApp status offensive? Soon, a solution will be within reach.
According to sources, a tool allowing users to report status updates that violate the social network company’s Terms of Service will reportedly be added to the messaging platform owned by Meta.
Users will have to navigate to a new menu within the WhatsApp “Status” area to report a specific status change, according to WABetaInfo, a website that analyzes WhatApp advancements. When a complaint is flagged, it is sent to the moderation team, who will check the information in the status and take appropriate action.
The addition, which is still in development, will supplement the many other new features added to WhatsApp in 2022.
With some of its more recent features, users can text themselves to set reminders, create notes, or write down to-do lists. They can also participate in communities made up of different groups and take surveys.
The ‘Accidental Delete‘ function, which WhatsApp is now rolling out, will give users a five-second window to undo the accidental message deletion.
On WhatsApp, users frequently find themselves accidentally deleting messages that they accidentally send to someone or to a group. When they wanted to select “Delete for Everyone” they frequently delete the message simply for themselves.
The social media business also increased the maximum number of people who can be added to a group to 1,024 and increased the maximum number of people who may participate in a video call to 32.
