Shabaash Mithu is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios. The film based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the India women’s national cricket team, Mithali Raj, stars Taapsee Pannu in the titular role. It chronicles the ups and downs and moments of glory of Mithali’s life. The film was released on 15 July 2022.
Rashtra Kavach Om is a 2022 Indian action thriller film directed by Kapil Verma and produced by Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan. It stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana, Prakash Raj and Prachee Shah Paandya. The film was released in the theatre on 1 July 2022. It is now streaming on Zee5.
Never Have I Ever is an American coming-of-age comedy-drama television series starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher. Though the show takes place in the area of San Fernando Valley, the comedy is loosely based on Kaling’s childhood experiences in the Boston area. It premiered on Netflix on April 27, 2020, and is about an Indian-American high school student dealing with the sudden death of her father. The series received generally favorable reviews. The season 3 of show is now streaming on Netflix.
