The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony has been one of the most talked about events, not only in India but across the globe. From the idol of Lord Ram to the tiniest construction details of the Ayodhya temple, media houses and news channels have been in a race to show it first. Yesterday, the holy premises were filled with people including Bollywood actors including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, business owners including the Ambani family, politicians and many others. Even prominent content creators like Meethika Dwivedi and Gaurav Taneja were also seen participating in the religious celebrations.

The Consecration Ceremony

The consecration ceremony of one-of-a-kind idol of Lord Rama was completed by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 22nd January in auspicious time pre-decided by priests. The ceremony has other influential figures such Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat among others. 

Bollywood Stars 

Not only politicians but creme de la creme from Bollywood were also seen attending the event. Actors Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, and Jackie Shroff were seen paying their homage to Lord Ram.

Alia Bhatt’s Saree Goes Viral

Alia Bhatt made a striking appearance at the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony wearing a traditional ensemble that garnered much attention, especially for its unique details. The saree stood out due to its Ramayan-themed border, featuring intricate embroidered images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and the Ram Setu. The saree quickly became a sensation on the internet as netizens appreciated her thoughtfulness. We want to take a minute to appreciate the artisans behind this marvellous task.

Creators in Ayodhya

Creators also went out to Ayodhya to seek the blessings of Lord Ram and to witness the historic moment. We spotted the extremely hilarious Meethika Dwivedi along with Gaurav Taneja in the streets of Ayodhya wearing the beautiful ‘Ram tilak’ on their foreheads. The duo posed for a picture together expressing their happiness to be able to be a part of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Alongside Meethika and Gaurav many creators who have found their fame for creating content around Ayodhya, the Ram temple and the ceremony were also present there. Harshvardhan Verma popularly known as Ayodhyawale was also seen at the glorious event. He rose to fame for documenting the entire journey of the temple, starting from when the foundation stone was laid. Harshvardhan now has 2.5 million followers on his Instagram account. In addition to Ayodhyawale, there are many other accounts including Paavanbhumi Ayodhya that have gained traction for creating content around the Ram temple.

Beginning on January 14, a group of 500 influencers initiated a month-long pilgrimage covering a distance of 4,500 kilometres, retracing the journey undertaken by Lord Ram to Ayodhya from Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu after completing his exile. Organised by the Ram Mahotsav Yatra Samiti, established by the All India Influencers Association, this yatra gained significant attention and was actively endorsed by leaders affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The assembly of popular personalities along with a large number of people from all walks of life marked the religious significance the consecration ceremony and the Ram mandir in Ayodhya has in the lives of Hindus. The entire event was truly one-of-a-kind that will go down in Indian history.
