What if I told you that an Indian musician made a deal with his followers that if he received a million comments, he’d reveal a new song poster? You don’t believe me, do you? Take a look at this post by Sidhu Moose Wala! This well-known musician and composer believed in himself as well as his fans, and it paid off handsomely because the goal was met in record time. Imagine how extensive his internet engagement profile is!

Sidhu Moose Wala, also known as 5911, is from the village of Moosa in Punjab’s rural area. With the release of Sidhu Moose Wala’s long-awaited ‘MooseTape’ album, we couldn’t think of a better moment to write a feature story. He made a name for himself not only locally but also globally with his debut album Pbx1 in 2018. By getting featured on the Canadian Billboard Charts, he became a global sensation, winning the Best Album Award, 2019 at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards, Track of the Year for “Legend”, Best International Male Act, and Best Lyricist awards. That, however, was only the beginning of his worth-telling, or in this case, authoring, accomplishments.

Sidhu Moose Wala is followed by Drake, Tion Wayne, and other well-known Hip-Hop musicians, and has one of the highest engagement profiles. His songs are well-known over the world because his content, despite being mainstream Punjabi, is known to strike a chord with the listeners’ hearts. He is one of the most confident and distinct individuals, who enjoys telling stories via his music and forging connections with his listeners.

He has made a name for himself in the industry by releasing albums in successive years, despite several setbacks. He overcame those challenges and emerged stronger, and his successes over the years have earned him comparisons to the invincible and powerful 5911 tractor, which drags whatever may come in its path. The analogy demonstrates his ability to succeed in the face of adversity. A man who succeeds by releasing independent albums without the support of a label coming from a small village, naturally becomes an inspiration to others.

Another feature that distinguishes him is his profound connection to his ancestral roots. He and his family continue to live in their village, and with the release of the song Game, he shows us how he is building a mansion for his family within the village. Farming, his tractor, and his village are some of the things he is proud of, as evidenced by his albums. A man with these endearing traits and abilities makes us glad that he represents his beautiful roots in such a spectacular way.

Talking about his album MooseTape, he announced it on Instagram on March 10th. In less than a week, his first published song Bitch I’m Back from his latest album has surpassed over 160 thousand Reels on Instagram. Bitch I’m Back, Burberry, Unfuckwithable, and Racks and Rounds are the released tracks that have quickly accumulated millions of views on YouTube. His most recent track, ‘Us,’ was released yesterday in collaboration with Raja Kumari and has already received 11 million views in a single day. His album contains 30 tracks, the first of which was released on May 15th, and he will continue to release all of his tracks in the days ahead until the final track, which will be released on July 21st. All these songs can be accessed on almost all digital music platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and more. His album ranks at No.1 on Apple Music India, as of today.

This album has been trending globally, with over 200 thousand Instagram reels and millions of views across the songs. We can’t keep calm for the tracks to be released in the coming days and are highly ecstatic about the same. So let’s go and listen to his tracks until my pen writes more for you, shall we?
