An Aston Martin event in 2021 proved to be extremely eventful for two individuals. What started as a coffee date with their dogs, has now turned into the adventure of a lifetime. After dating for three beautiful years, Gossip Girl’s “Chuck Bass” i.e. Ed Westwick is now engaged to model-actor Amy Jackson!
Set against the most scenic landscape, Ed popped the question to Amy during a ski trip on a bridge in Switzerland. And she said “Hell YES 💍” to spend the rest of her life with her Ed. The couple dropped the pictures on their Instagram which captured the romantic proposal beautifully with Ed on one knee and a surprised yet elated Amy. The Deep Fear actor reposted the images on his Instagram Story, saying, “I hit the jackpot xxx.”
Amy and Ed’s engagement has the whole Internet cooing over the fact that ‘Chuck‘ found his ‘Blair‘. Many celebrities showered love on the couple in the comments of their post. Socialite Orry wrote, “Biggest congratulations angel.” Lisa Haydon said, “Awww love congrats and glacier 3000.” Kiara Advani dropped multiple red heart emoticons. Shruti Hassan and Athiya Shetty among others also congratulated the couple. Another user wrote “After you’re married, we better get a video of her saying “I’m Mrs. Chuck Bass”.

Amy Jackson
British actress and former Miss Teen World, Amy Jackson has spent the last few years firmly establishing herself in the world of Indian cinema. Madrasapattinam was her first foray into the film industry here. Amy made her Bollywood debut opposite Prateik Babbar in Ek Deewana Tha. She has since starred in movies that feature Tamil, Hindi and Telugu as their main languages and expanded into an international audience.
This includes popular titles like 2.0 — in which she played a humanoid robot alongside Tamil superstar Rajinikanth — as well as Singh Is Bliing, where she played the daughter of a mafia boss opposite Bollywood stalwart Akshay Kumar.
Amy was previously engaged to George Panayiotou. The ex-couple welcomed a baby boy in 2019. She recently announced the wrap of her upcoming action thriller film Crakk. The film also stars Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles.
Ed Westwick
Edward Jack Peter Westwick is an English actor and musician best known for his role as “Chuck Bass” on The CW‘s ‘Gossip Girl‘. He continues to ride high on the success of the teen drama that boasts a cult-like following. As a result of the show’s success, he was named one of 2008’s “Sexiest Men Alive” by People, and appeared the following year on its “100 Most Beautiful” list with the whole cast of Gossip Girl.
Westwick also bagged the 2008 and 2009 awards for “Best TV Villain” at the Teen Choice Awards, and was named “Breakthrough Talent” by GQ the next year. Then Ed stepped into the shoes of a salesman “Vincent Swan” for the British sitcom ‘White Gold‘. His latest movie “Deep Fear” came out recently and another is set to release next month – “Dark Game“.
The actor was also a member of the British band The Filthy Youth, formed in 2006. Their songs “Come Flash All You Ladies” and “Orange” were both featured in an episode of Gossip Girl. Ed Westwick is also the vocalist of the band For You, who released their first single “Tailspin” last year.

Speaking about meeting Ed for the first time at Silverstone race track at an Aston Martin event, Amy revealed, “He happened to be with his friend who I also knew so we all chatted for a bit, mainly about our dogs of course, and then off we went in our Astons and raced around the track all afternoon.”
“Before leaving, he came back over and casually asked what I was up to on the weekend and I told him I was house hunting in Hampstead to which he told me he knew the area well and he knew a great dog-friendly coffee shop and asked whether Herbert (my poodle) and I would like to go with him and Humphrey (his Frenchie)” she added. Coffee and dogs are the way to Amy’s heart and Ed knew exactly how to win her over.
Social Media Confirms
Rumour mills went into overdrive when the two were spotted strolling on the streets of London. The British media buzzed with stories, which were further fuelled by their social media posts and captions. Amy and Ed made their red carpet debut as a couple at the National Film Awards 2022 while twinning in black.
The couple seemed inseparable over the months to follow. From showing up hand-in-hand at events to making red carpet appearances, and vacationing together, they were living life together. In a series of snaps, Jackson wished her beau on Valentine’s Day with the caption “Life with you. Happy Valentines Baby – forever grateful for the endless belly laughs and ultimate love.” Westwick responded with, “We keep soaring higher and higher. Your strength and courage gives me mine. Happy 2nd V day. Let’s keep crushing xx.”
The India Trip
In July 2023, they made headlines for their loved-up vacation in India, which included sampling local cuisines and popping by popular monuments. Amy Jackson was shooting for the Tamil action thriller film Mission Chapter 1 – Achcham Enbathu Illaiyae at the time alongside Arun Vijay and Abi Hassan. And our Chuck Bass landed in Mumbai — reportedly to support and be with her.
