On June 9, 2024, Narendra Modi took the oath of office for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India in a grand ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside 35 Cabinet Ministers, 36 Ministers of State, and 5 Ministers of State with independent charge, was sworn in by President Droupadi Murmu. The BJP-led NDA secured 286 seats in the recent elections, with the BJP alone winning 240 seats.
