Superman is the alter ego of Clark Kent, a Kryptonian who was sent to Earth as a baby and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent in the fictional town of Smallville. Not just in comics but Superman is a popular franchise in entertainment history. Actor Henry Cavill is the most recent and most popular face of the century-old series. Soon, The Politician fame David Corenswet will be seen portraying the superhero.
David Corenswet
Director James Gunn recently took to his Twitter handle to inform the world about his decision of casting David Corenswet in the role of Superman for his upcoming film, Superman: Legacy. The American actor will replace the much-loved Henry Cavil to feature in the blue bodysuit with a red cape. James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy is scheduled for a release in 2025.
The upcoming film will uphold Superman as the defender of truth, justice, and the American way. He will be seen fighting fights to protect Earth from various threats. Previously Superman was shown fighting supervillains like Lex Luthor, General Zod, and Brainiac. As a founding member of the Justice League, Superman’s status as a superhero increases manifolds.
