H&M is a high-street fashion brand that has retail stores across the globe. They are known for their stylish fits priced affordably. Over the years H&M has collaborated with many designer houses to offer luxury collections at economical prices. This time H&M collaborates with none other than the French luxury brand, Mugler. #MuglerHM is by far the most anticipated collaboration for the entire world. In fact, Indian celebrities have also been seen loving pieces from this collection.
The limited edition collection is to be released on May 11 in UK stores and online. The designs are carefully crafted under the able leadership of the creative director of Mugler, Casey Cadwallader.
H&M has left no stone unturned and bought in famous stars to promote this collaboration. The look book of the collection has big names including Jerry Hall and Mariacarla Boscono.
Before the collection hits the fashion market, H&M also hosted a catwalk show in New York which was attended by over 800 guests. While Irina Shayk was on the runway, artists like Amaarae, Eartheater and Shygirl performed for the guests.
Brand Identities
Mugler is a high-end luxury brand known for its body-hugging designs using the latest silhouettes. The use of sheer fabrics in Mugler designs is a hit amongst celebrities. A-list artists such as Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner and Bella Hadid have been spotted wearing Mugler pieces on multiple occasions.
H&M on the other hand is a fast-fashion brand known for designing clothes in the more affordable brackets. Their outfits are fuss-free and require close to zero maintenance. However, time and again, H&M has collaborated with multiple luxury brands to offer clothing to its customers at a quarter of the prices.
Previously, H&M has worked with Sabyasachi, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo, Simone Rocha, Versace, Giambattista Valli, Erdem and Isabel Marant. All of these collaborations have been a hit and were sold within a few hours. The Mugler X HM collaboration will be no different and will possibly be sold out in a few minutes.
