Facing a problem while scrolling your gram? Don’t worry it’s not just you. Instagram has been for many people all over the world.
Meta spokesperson Devi Narasimhan told The Verge: “Earlier today, a technical issue caused some people to have trouble accessing Instagram. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible, and apologize for any inconvenience.” On Twitter, the brand gave the all-clear at 2:25 PM ET.
Although the source of the outage is still unknown, Instagram says they have been attempting to find a solution. It acknowledged that some users were having problems using Instagram and promised to take immediate action to fix the problem.

According to sources, Instagram experienced an outage at about 9:32 a.m. PT and is still experiencing it today. According to DownDetector, the platform has been attempting to resolve the problems.
Many Instagram users have expressed their frustration over the slowness as they are unable to send messages or log into the service. Many people are unable to open stories or share any feeds.
The problems weren’t quite uniform; while the service appeared to function perfectly for some of our workers, other members frequently crashed when trying to access news. Although the crashes have largely stopped, there are still some oddities with the user interface. For example, for one employee, the Create button has moved back to where the Reels button should be, and for another, a message that ought to have been sent months ago, was instead received.
WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger didn’t seem to be impacted by the downtime, nor were other Meta applications.
However, some users are still facing the issue. Hope it gets resolved.
