A turn of events
Today is a very interesting day for IPL fans as the two popular teams RCB and CSK are scheduled to play a match. Both of these teams are neck to neck on the points table. Chennai and Bangalore are both at 4 points each but seeing MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli face each other will be a dream of many. Former captains, Virat is called the Fire whereas Dhoni is the Ice, have a deep affinity towards each other.
Star-studded affair
IPL has always been a starry event having the big names adorn the game. While two teams are owned by Bollywood celebrities- KKR is owned by the King Khan of Bollywood and Preity Zinta is a part-owner of Punjab Kings, many celebrities are also seen at the game. The rising star Rashmika Mandana and Tamanna Bhatia were seen performing and enjoying themselves at the opening match. When the song Swami played at the stadium, the crowd went wild and joined Rashmika for the hook step.
Bollywood and Cricket also have a romantic angle as many actresses from Bollywood are married to top cricketers and when these women come out in support of their loved ones, it’s an added feather of glamour for the IPL. Anushka Sharma was recently spotted cheering for Virat Kohli who is the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore. The lady in white looked charming and soon became the headline for many. As reported by Filmfare, there has been news making rounds that Salman Khan will be promoting his upcoming release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, at an IPL game.
