“I would like to announce that we are officially a part of the Nike family,” an enthusiastic Kai Cenat shared on his recent livestream. “This has been a long time waiting.” Kai happens to be the first-ever streamer to get a partnership with Nike. Cenat’s venture with the mega sports retailer will take his personal brand to new heights.
The 22-year-old YouTuber further shared “There has been nothing more that I ever wanted. When I first got the call to be part of the Nike family, I literally couldn’t believe it.” Even though Cenat publically confirmed his new deal with the global sportswear brand, the terms of the partnership are not yet revealed.

The Announcement
In his livestream, Kai held up a pair of Nike sneakers that he planned to wear to the gym. Another video clip shows the Harlem native calling his mom to share the big news. He starts by asking her what her favourite sports brand is, which happens to be Nike. Shortly after Cenat made the announcement, he confirmed that he had “something big” planned with Nike for an upcoming in-real-life (IRL) stream in Las Vegas.
Who Is Kai Cenat?
Kai Cenat is a 22-year-old American content creator who streams on Twitch and posts videos to YouTube. He shared his first video on his main YouTube channel in 2018, and the channel now has about 6.18 million followers. Since then, he has grown his audience across two different YouTube accounts and his Twitch channel, now with 9 million followers.
Cenat has also won Streamer of the Year twice and had big names like Nicki Minaj, Offset, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, and more join him on his streams. In 2023, he became the third streamer to reach 200,000 subscribers and the first Black streamer to hit this milestone, as reported by AFROTECH.
His journey, supported by figures like “Aunt Cathy,” who provided him with his first laptop, showcases the power of community and perseverance in achieving success. Kai also participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game for Team Shannon on February 16.
